🥩 Steak 3.4/5
The Fifth Province in St Kilda, has shown us time and time again how good it is. For their Thursday steak day you can score a $30 250g Porterhouse with sauce, salad and chippies! The Porterhouse is Marble score 5, it was cooked lovely on the inside but needed some love on the searing element. The steak also didn’t have as much flavour as we personally like however, was definitely medium rare.

🔪 Sauce & Sides 3.5/5
Onto our favourite sides, we tried the garlic & chilli prawns, with a crusty baguette. The amount of flavour the prawns had blew us away. The buffalo wings killed it as always, which this is one of our favourite starters we’ve ever had, we dream of these wings, with blue cheese sauce. With our steak we went with garlic butter, red wine jus & peppercorn but nothing hit quite as much as the wings.

We looooove @thefifthprovince we always have, as a beautiful irish venue with an edge to it. Shout out to Aaron, who we love, he was unreal! He is someone we want to hang out with. Plus, there is live music, all the time, it gives Nashville vibes, stunning.

What a variety of drinks we had, H started with a Baileys hot chocolate to embrace the theme of Christmas in July. This was one of the most lovely & moreish drinks ever. H then moved onto the 2024 Debussy Réverie - Gamay for $13 a glass, super enjoyable! Mads as always, sticks to what she knows & loved the ’25 Shadowfax ‘Minnow’ - Rosé for $14 a glass.

Whilst we think $30 for a steak night is good value, we do have to base this on the meal we received. We saw some room for improvement with the steak & the sauces & sides with the steak night deal. Whilst it was still enjoyable, we did give some feedback on our personal experience.
