  • What a fun night! The girls created a warm, inviting environment that felt authentic and set the tone for good chats and an engaging evening.

    Starting with drinks and an opportunity to socialise and get comfortable before being seated and meeting everyone involved. Timing was well balanced with enough time to meet and get to know someone but not so long that conversations became awkward or uncomfortable.

    The ending of the night was also super relaxed but created a comfortable environment to exchange numbers and chat more to people you were interested in.

  • When we launched our very first Steak & Date in 2024, Maddi hosted while I joined as a guest — I wanted to experience it firsthand to make sure it truly worked. As I was single at the time, we ran the first event in my own age group, which gave me the chance to step into the shoes of our attendees.

    The format worked perfectly - food naturally sparked conversations as we shared eight courses throughout the night at Pincho Disco. I actually ended up meeting my now boyfriend at that very event. We didn’t click romantically at first, but we built a friendship that later grew into something more.

    That experience cemented my belief that Steak & Date is about creating real, authentic connections in person. The energy in the room was unmatched, and I was so impressed by everyone who put themselves out there. It’s why I continue to host Steak & Date today.

 FAQs

  • No, all ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded unless the event is canceled by Steakbabes.

    If you wish to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email us at hello@steakbabes.com.au to confirm approval.

  • At the event, you’ll receive a match card with space to jot down names and notes from your dates. At the end of the night, simply place a tick next to anyone you’d like to stay connected with and pop your card into the match box.

    Within 48 hours, Steakbabes will review all the match cards. If there’s a mutual match, you’ll receive an "It’s a Match" email with both parties looped in, plus clear next steps and a few date ideas to keep things rolling.

  • We have a strict no-show and last-minute cancellation policy to ensure fairness and smooth operation of our events. If you cancel within 24 hours of the event or fail to show up without notice, a $15 non-cancellation fee will apply.

    This fee must be paid before you can attend any future events, and no refunds will be provided.

    To avoid this, please let us know as early as possible if you can’t make it—this allows us to fill your spot and keep the event enjoyable for everyone!

  • The event will be hosted at Pincho Disco located at 59 Cambridge St, Collingwood VIC 3066. The speed dating will occur within a private function area.

    Only allocated ticket holders will have access to the event space.

  • The ticket price includes the speed dating and an 8-course steak infused menu curated by our talented chefs and a welcome cocktail. Additional alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased separately at the bar during the event.

  • Each date lasts approximately 5-8 minutes depending on the total number of guests, followed by a short break to transition to the next date.

    The entire event runs for just over 2 hours, with additional time for mingling at the start, half time break and at the end.

  • Each event has a specific age range. Please see when tickets are available for more information on the specific age range for that event.

  • Yes, you can purchase tickets for someone else, but please ensure you have their permission and that the attendee meets the age and other event requirements. Make sure they are comfortable attending the event.

    Additionally, please email Steakbabes at hello@steakbabes.com.au to confirm the additional guest(s) full name.

  • Just bring yourself and your confirmation email (either printed or digital).

  • The menu is subject to change, but you can expect an 8-course meal designed to be easy to enjoy while you date, along with small sides. At least four of the dishes will feature beef, in true Steakbabes style.

  • At this stage, Steakbabes is limited to the venue’s catering capacity and can only accommodate gluten-free dietary requirements should notice be provided 2 weeks in advance.

    Since this event is designed for steak lovers, vegan and vegetarian options are not available at this time.

  • Smart casual attire is recommended. You want to look and feel your best while still being comfortable!

  • Please arrive on time for your check in with Steakbabes between 6.30pm-6.45pm. Speed dating will start promptly at 7:00pm. Late arrivals may miss out on dates and no refunds will be provided for missed portions of the event.

  • Please arrive from 6:30pm to allow 10-15 minutes for check-in with your hosts, Steakbabes. The speed dating will last approximately 2 hours, including a 10-15 minute break halfway through. After the dating rounds are complete, there will be time to mingle and chat with everyone.

  • Absolutely! Many of our attendees come solo, and it's a great way to meet new people in a relaxed, fun environment. Steakbabes’ H&Mads are with you every step of the way.

  • Yes, Steakbabes is committed to offering events for all sexual preferences as demand grows. Stay tuned for future announcements as we expand our event offerings to cater to everyone.

  • Our events are designed for specific age groups to ensure compatibility and comfort. If you're outside the advertised age range, we recommend waiting for future events tailored to your group.
