🥩Steak
We were invited to the iconic, Omnia in South Yarra to indulge in some of their steaks. We decided to try a couple of the glorious steaks on offer & share these. We went for the Sher Wagyu MB 6-7 Eye Fillet which was gorgeous, H isn't a big eye fillet lover, but this one was one that changed her mind and the David Blackmore MB9+ bavette, this was full of flavour, melted in our mouths & we loved every single bite. The steaks came with a parsnip puree & confit onion, the flavours worked so well & we did add the delicious potato rosti & carrots.

🔪Sauce & Sides
We went all out on the entree's, there were so many options we wanted to try, H had the smoked ocean trout cigar & Mads the chickpea panisse, both blew us away! We also had to try the kingfish which was nice and fresh but the star of the show was the Steak Tartare, again from Sher Wagyu MB9+. This tartare is easily one of the best steak tartare's we've tried. Not to mention, the staff prepare the tartare at your table, it truly is an experience.

🔥Vibe
Omnia has this intimate sexy vibe about it and certainly a great location for a special occasion. Every detail has been thought about, from the attentiveness of the staff, the incredible menu and down to the Omnia branded ice cubes. We had such an incredible experience and the staff have a wealth of knowledge and are extremely welcoming.

🍷 Vino
Upon arriving, we were offered a cocktail to begin our night, H started with the Cucumber Martini with a direct quote "this is the smoothest martini i've ever had" & Mads the Amaretto Sour mocktail which tasted exactly the same as the real deal, delish. Onto the Vino, H had a glass of Barbera for $17 and Mads indulged in the non-alcoholic rose. We were both very happy.

💰Value
We truly felt the entree's were very reasonably priced ranging from $9 - $39 for the tartare, which we would pay every day of the week, it was that good. Steaks range from $72 - $125 and keep in mind, you're paying for quality here. As mentioned, this is a spot for special occasions & we will definitely be back.
