🥩 Steak – 4.8/5
We're back from part 1 of Steakbabes take USA & our first stop back was to Babines a gorgeous French inspired restaurant, in Collingwood for their $30 Steak Night every Sunday. This is one too add to the top of your list. On offer is the 250g Pasture Fed Black Angus Rump which hit the spot. This steak had a beautiful flavour without any sauce & it was cooked close to perfection, there was not much to fault here!

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 4.9/5
Where to begin with this one.?! We had to try the steak tartare, served with Chappy's Chips & packed flavour, this was up there with one of the most unique tartare serve tried, with hazelnut & cheese. With your steak, you score a choice between the Miso sauce or Pesto butter, both are so unique, however the Miso Sauce knocked our socks off. The steak is also served with hand cut chippies & a fresh salad with a passionfruit dressing, all of which we adored.

🔥 Vibe – 4.6/5
Babines felt instantly warm & cosy when we arrived, the front area included bar dining which we appreciate, booths & a lovely area towards the back of the venue to catch up with your girlfriends. The staff are unbelievably attentive and helpful, we had such a nice experience here. We pictured ourselves settling in for a few more vino's in this beautiful space.

🍷 Vino – 4.9/5
The vino list is very considered & full of glorious drops. H got stuck into the GSM for $17 a glass, which was fantastic, full of flavour but not heavy like a shiraz. Mads had the Rose for $15 a glass, again, delightful! We were also treated to a glass of prosecco upon arrival and the fact H liked this, says a lot!

💰 Value – 5/5
Finding an unreal steak deal is hard to come across these days, let alone one for $30. Babines is a guaranteed winner in our eyes. With sides that complement the dish and no hidden extras, this is one of the best value steak nights we’ve come across. Babines is officially on our repeat list. We could not fault this meal, you're sure to leave with a full tummy & very satisfied.
