🥩Steak – 5/5
On the sixth floor of the infamous curtain house in CBD, you'll find Mesa Verde offering a mouthwatering $30 Steak Night every Wednesday from 4PM. This juicy deal includes a 250g O'Connor grass fed Sirloin with chippies, a sauce choice between red wine jus or Ají criollo, a blistered chilli & a crisp cos wedge salad. This steak was perfection. We were truly blown away - the flavour was phenomenal & cooked to perfect medium rare. We did get spoilt & tried the 500g Rib Eye too and we can hands-down say, this was the best Rib-eye we've ever eaten. Do yourself a favour, get to Mesa Verde ASAP!

🔪Sauce & Sides – 4.7/5
All of the sides with the steak night offering were unreal, all we wanted, was more more chippies! The Red Wine Jus was delicious & comes lathered on the steak, which typically we like our sauce on the side, but this one worked well and was just right. The other sauce option we tried was the Ají criollo, this was punchy! H had an oyster with her mini martini happy hour deal ($18) & loved it. We tried the pickled mushroom tostada, this one is really unique but really yummy & H tried the brand-new brussels sprouts taco.

🔥Vibe – 5/5
We cannot fault the vibes here. As soon as we got here, our moods instantly lifted, it's beautifully lit, the staff are incredible & we felt like we could have stayed there hours and hours. This is an incredible spot for date night, catch ups with your friends & truly, any excuse.

🍷Vino – 4.3/5
The vino list is solid & H started with a signature martini & Mads a mocktail margarita, both were out of this world! H also tried the $10 vino which is on offer with the steak night, noting, these rotate weekly & this one was a shiraz. Shiraz, isn't H's first choice of vino but it was still enjoyable.

💰Value – 4.7/5
We've been finding some real gems in the CBD for steak nights & this is up there with one of the best! For $30 with all of your sides included & a sauce choice, you'll leave happy. We did wish there was more chippies but that's the only thing we'd honestly change. Overall, this is a must try spot & we will be banging on about this one for a very long time to come.
