🥩Steak – 3.4/5
The newly created steak night at Mae had two options for their steak night. On offer was a choice of 250g Scotch Fillet or a 300g Sirloin both cooked on the Hibachi grill. The steak had a good flavour and was quite thick. Unfortunately, Mads steak was slightly overcooked but H's was much more juicy. All in all, it was enjoyable.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 4/5
With the steak night, we had the Red Wine Jus which had a beautiful flavour and consistency. It's worth mentioning, the option we chose, is offered with chips and sauce only. We did order the Asian Greens in addition and they were a true highlight of the meal. The chippies were crunchy, salty & solid. We were really happy with each of these components!

🔥Vibe – 1.7/5
Mae is a cute venue that is traditionally a cafe during the day which we could see would be a fantastic spot for brunch! From the outside, you wouldn't expect this venue to be as big as it is with lots of different area's to dine. Sadly, the venue wasn't hitting the vibe mark for evening, and was a bit quite. We think with a couple of adjustments from a brunch style will add to the overall atmosphere improving.

🍷Vino – 2/5
There were two options for red wine so we tried one of each. A Shiraz & a Pinot Noir, both glasses were $14 each which we felt seemed a bit expenny for a vino we didn't love.

💰Value – 3.5/5
The value for the steak we chose was good however, there is no sauce choice, vino not included and we thought it could have included a side salad or greens. For a vino and additional sides, you're looking at closer to $50 for the meal.
