🥩 Steak - 4.7/5
We headed to a local for Mads to Ludlow in Southbank. They offer a Monday & Tuesday night Steak night offering a 200g Flat Iron, chippies, salad with a choice of peppercorn or bearnaise sauce plus a glass of vino or beer for $39. This steak was cooked absolutely perfectly, with unreal flavour & certainly doesn't need any sauce, which is a true sign of a great steak. Our only criticism was the portion of the steak, for two hungry babes, we would love a little more steak!

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 4.5/5
We started our meal with half shell scallops, which if you're not into spice, we wouldn't recommend these, but the scallops were super fresh & yummy & we had the free-range chicken skewers, H had the satay sauce & we tried the sambal too, which was our favourite sauce! We are two big fans of a sauce choice so naturally, we had one of each, the peppercorn & bearnaise sauces, our personal fav was the bearnaise sauce, which did take a minute to grow on us but the more we had, the more we reverted back to bearnaise babes. The chippies were delish & the salad was simple but fresh.

🔥 Vibe – 4.6/5
Ludlow had a full reno done & it certainly paid off in our opinion. The venue has multiple dining areas with gorgeous lighting & plenty of space for any occasion. Perfect for date night, girls night or a long lunch on the weekend. We sat outside & we were nice and warm with the heaters & we really loved looking at the city views while we enjoyed our dinner.

🍷 Vino – 4.5/5
H enjoyed the Shiraz, which was offered with the steak night, she isn't the biggest fan of Shiraz however, this one was particularly enjoyable. Mads is back on the no alcohol bandwagon so went for the non-alcoholic rose option.

💰 Value – 4.7/5
$36 for a beautiful steak and a vino, is unreal. Especially, when a glass of vino is usually $16 a glass and this is included in your meal. We highly recommend checking Ludlow out for an early week steak night!
