🥩 Steak - 4/5
Every Monday from 5pm you can score a steak night deal at Hampton Hotel. You have a choice from a 250g Southern Ranges MB2+ Porterhouse for $25 or a 220g Black Angus Eye Fillet for $35. This includes chippies, salad & their gravy as a sauce choice. H went for the Porterhouse which was full of flavour, there were some parts of the steak that could have been seared more but cooked nicely, Mads went for the Eye fillet, which was thick & juicy, cooked beautifully!

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 3.7/5
We started our meal with the lemon pepper calamari which was lovely, nice and fresh! With the steak night, you get a generous amount of chippies which are nicely salted, a fresh & light salad plus their gravy. You can purchase additional sauces, which we did, we had to try the peppercorn gravy, this blew our heads off, punchy is an understatement. The gravy was a winner for us.

🔥 Vibe – 3.2/5
Hampton Hotel is in a gorgeous location and the venue itself was lovely. Whilst the venue was quite busy, we did feel the vibe was a little off. We didn't feel the passion in the venue & it almost felt a little generic. Whilst we can see some improvements, it's still a nice spot for a quick & easy dinner.

🍷 Vino – 2/5
Mads was off the vino again so enjoyed the lovely Hampton Beach mocktail with pineapple, orange, cranberry & soda. This was the size of our heads but super enjoyable. H unfortunately didn't get as lucky with her vino. She opted for the Sangiovese for $15 a glass and it was not a good drop, sadly, this was one of those glasses you couldn't finish.

💰 Value – 3.7/5
We really appreciated that there were two options for the steak night, in our opinion, the eye fillet was better value than the porterhouse just based on the flavour & how it was prepared. There wasn't a sauce choice unfortunately, but the gravy was a nice option for the steak.
