🥩 Steak - 5/5
In Kensington you'll find this absolute gem of a place, the Doutta Galla. We went for their Tuesday Steak Day. On offer you could be lucky enough to enjoy one of two steaks, a 250g Porterhouse for $25 or a 250g wagyu rostbiff MB9+ for $39 cooked over a Josper grill. Now, when we see a steak option on the menu, we have to try both, so we did! We shared both steaks & we were absolutely in love with both of them. They were both cooked incredibly, both juicy & both full of flavour. Shoutout to Sunny the Chef, we know we will be back for these steaks!

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 5/5
We started our steaks off with the pork belly bites & grilled halloumi, both of these knocked our socks off. Full of flavour & honestly, so enjoyable. Now with your steaks you get chippies, salad & a sauce choice. We tried every single sauce except the mushroom, we enjoyed all of the sauces but the truffle butter, we adored & we loved the fact there was a sauce choice. Every single side hit our mark, chippies were fabulous, salad was fresh & sauce hit the mark.

🔥 Vibe – 5/5
"The Doot" is a spot truly for all! This OG 1880's built pub has recently been refreshed across all 3 levels and a dry-ager onsite. On entry, you can go modern dining to one side or across the upper levels, or in the front room we dined in with the sofas and fireplace. On the other side of the venue features another large bar for more casual pub/bar vibes with TVs for the sport. Upstairs & down there are additional spaces for functions, or big group occasions. The front cosy room with the fireplace was perfect for us.

🍷 Vino – 5/5
Lots of options available and a huge tape range of beers too. We loved the non-alcoholic options too as Mads enjoyed a couple of glasses of the non-alc pinot noir for $11 a glass, it was lovely. H was on the Malbec for $18 a glass, both phenomenal.

💰Value – 5/5
When there is nothing you would change about the meal you get, how could you say it's not fantastic value?! We loved the quality of everything we got & we continue to recommend the Doot to everyone. This is one of those spots you want to go back to every, single, week.
