🥩Steak
We went out to Epping to go to Volcanos Steakhouse, which is the dry-aged dream. This spot is Halal friendly & we went to try their specials plus some of the regular menu items. On offer for the special at $84.90 is the 350g Wagyu Sirloin MB7+, and we also had to try the 500g Dry Aged Bone in Rib Eye MB4+.The Sirloin was incredibly tender & this was our preference from the steaks. It is worth noting, because these steaks are from the Young Prime category, both steaks were incredibly rich & quite heavy, but cooked beautifully.

🔪Sauce & Sides
We started our meal with the cheesy fries, these were a highlight for us with 4 different cheeses included. Then the Dry Aged beef tartare was unusual, but we liked it. With all of your steaks, weather they are the special or not, you have the choice of one side & one sauce. We had to choose from the list of sides, we went with the steakhouse fries & steamed veggies, which were both great. There are also 6 sauce choices on offer, we tried 4 of them, our fav was the Peppercorn sauce & truffle sauce, Hot Lava Sauce would be great on ribs & the Chimichurri was a lovely palate cleanser.

🔥Vibe
Volcanos staff were super friendly & the restaurant itself was gorgeous. We loved the space, we love when the steaks are on display, which they were here, in the dry age cabinet. We also appreciate when it's someone's birthday, the staff sing happy birthday, with a complimentary brownie. We sang happy birthday 6 times, they sometimes average 12 birthdays per night!

🍷 Vino / Mocktails
Volcanos is an alcohol free venue, we loved this. Volcanos are known for their unreal mocktails & we do have to agree. H went for the Virgin Mojito, no notes here, this was fantastic & Mads went for the Lychee Tease which had this fantastic pineapple foam. We loved these drinks, even the finishing with liquid nitrogen for a bit of theatre was fun.

💰Value
We found it great that regardless of if you order from the specials or the regular steak menu, you have the option of sides & sauce. The special in our opinion is worth it, we enjoyed this steak & as you all know, having choices on sides & sauces is huge for us.
