🥩Steak – 4.9/5
Steakbabes took a little weeknight road trip to The Bay Hotel in Mornington for their Tuesday Steak Night! On offer a 250g Grass Fed MS2 Porterhouse steak. We thought the steak looked small initially, but it was super thick & absolutely lovely. The steak had a fantastic flavour, cooked perfectly & cutting into this baby, was like butter.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 5/5
Honestly, we could not fault the sauce & sides. The thrice cooked chippies are fluffy, crunchy & all in all delicious. The salad was light & fresh with yummy horseradish - we thought this was the perfect addition to the meal. In our typical fashion, H loved the light but delish Peppercorn cream & Mads rated the Jus very highly! We have to mention the unreal scallops for entree with the home made special Bay Butter - do yourself a favour & give them a go!

🔥Vibe – 4.2/5
We were lucky enough to be seated in one of the beautiful booth’s near the wine cellar. We thought the lighting was gorg, super intimate, with very comfy leather seats. We really appreciate the stunning branded plates & the incredibly lovely staff. There are a number of different areas to dine, including the main bar which has heaps of big TV’s to watch all the sports your heart desires & is super kid friendly!

🍷Vino – 4/5
The Bay Hotel had a solid selection of Vino with Happy Hour Monday - Friday 4-6PM including $9 vino - you can’t go wrong! We both felt like trying something new so H had a glass of the Mornington Shiraz for $16 & Mads tried the Yarra Valley Cab Sav for $13. We both agreed, they were great drops but we probably would stick to our usual choices next time.

💰Value – 4.7/5
As you all know by now, we appreciate a sauce option & that’s what we got! We loved the entire meal, it was a real winner in our eyes, but we understand $29 may be on the higher end of price point for a steak night.
