🥩Steak – 4.7/5
We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw a double down steak deal available every Saturday from 12-3pm. It was absolutely unreal. You get the option to have one entire steak, chips, salad & sauce with the option to have this all over again without paying extra. On offer is a 200g rump which, unlike us, we loved this cooked medium. H opted for medium rare first however, we were recommended by staff to try this medium, and the staff knew what they were talking about! Cooked beautifully, full of flavour & left us going for second round!

🔪Sauce & Sides – 4.7/5
The sauce that came with this beauty of a steak was a very creamy entrecote, giving similar vibes to a chimichurri. It was delicious - we loved it! We also got a lovely fresh & crisp salad as well as crunchy, salty chippies. The best part is we got all of these twice!

🔥Vibe – 4.7/5
Hotel Railway looked like a traditional pub from the front however, this wasn't the case. This restaurant is not only huge with spots for all occasions including a stunning beer garden, main bar & courtyard, but has been beautifully refurbished with stunning interiors. We sat in the gorgeous dining room which had a mediterranean vibe and stunning fireplace. The staff were fantastic & looked after us so well.

🍷Vino – 4.5/5
We hadn't mentioned, but you can add bottomless vino for $25 while you're here enjoying a doubled down steak. We indulged in the bottomless Sangiovese which was easy to drink, a little bit sweet & you could certainly have a real session on this one!

💰Value – 5/5
Honestly, $39 every Saturday for two servings of delicious steak (making it 400g total) & sides and beautiful warm baguette with butter to start - what more could you want. Except for the bonus of $25 bottomless vino which you are certainly looked after with here! We loved Hotel Railway, the value, the steak, the concept of two steaks in one sitting & we would highly recommend.
