🥩Steak
All steaks are aged for a minimum of 40 days, basted with their signature Rare Steakhouse baste and char-grilled. Mads sliced into a lovely 300g Great Southern, Pasture Fed, Eye fillet. It was cooked beautifully, and the flavour was divine - Mads was very very satisfied. H selected their 350g Great Southern Pinnacle, Pasture fed, Scotch Fillet, Marble Score 2+. This steak was fatty & full of flavour just how H likes it.

🔪Sauce & Sides
All steaks are served with a choice of chips or mashed potato - we both went for the chippies of course, delicious. Lots of sauce selections, such as mushroom, black pepper, creamy garlic, danish blue cheese, garlic butter or another layer of their signature baste. We tried the creamy garlic and blue danish, both packed full of flavour.

🔥Vibe
A quintessential steakhouse, with 3 levels of dining and an exposed kitchen on the ground floor. Rare Steakhouse has been running since 1997 and we’ve been told the longest running steakhouse in the CBD! (wow). The interiors are met with dark timber, hardwood floors, large drop ceiling lamps with dim lighting - setting the mood for a cosy date night or intimate occasio

🍷Vino
A glass of red by the glass starts from $14 to $23 per glass, not bad we’d say. We tried the 2021 Achille Sangiovese and the 2021 All Saints Estate Shiraz - both at $17.00 and went down a treat.

💰Value
The 300g Souther Range Eye Fillet was $75, while the 350g Great Southern Pinnacle, Scotch was $80.00. Sauce was extra anywhere between $3-$6 depending on your choice. We feel the value is reasonable for a steakhouse as the quality of cut delivers, and the steak was cooked beautifully with a great flavour.
