🥩Steak – 5/5
We headed back to @piratelife.southmelbourne for their new & improved steak day now on Thursdays from 12pm! We loved our experience last time so we were super excited to be going back again. You can expect an unbelievable 250g O’Connors Porterhouse which had been smoking since 10am that day. This steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The texture, flavour & rendering of the fat is unmatched. We were truly blown away with this steak, we both had nothing but positive things to say, if you want a knock out steak, get to Pirate Life.

🔪Sauce & Sides- 5/5
The new steak night offers a choice of sauces, which we love! The choices include gravy, steak diane & four mustard choices. Now, we did get both sauces as we needed to try both & my oh my, they were fantastic and it was so nice to have a choice. Additionally, you receive the most delish chippies on the side, they’re perfectly cooked & salted. We added a side salad for some greens which hit the spot! We have to make a special mention to the chicken chops for entree with buffalo sauce - our fav.

🔥Vibe– 5/5
Vibes were high. We’ve been to Pirate Life a couple of times & this was the busiest we’ve seen it. There were a lot of different groups & people with their doggo’s in the outdoor beer garden, which has a great fire pit & was showing the footy on the big screen. Pirate life is a spot you can go to for any occasion. You can have date night, catch up with the girls or sit outside & watch the footy.

🍷Vino– 5/5
Obviously, Pirate Life has an unreal selection of beers on tap & to take home but we personally love the vino. H is a Grenache lover & Mads the Shiraz, both hit the spot for $14 a glass. Happy Hour from 4-6 Wednesday to Friday for $5 Schooners!

When $25 gets you a 5/5 star steak with sauce choices, we couldn’t recommend Pirate Life more highly. We love everything about this experience & especially love the new and improved steak offering.
