🥩 Steak – 4.7/5
Mads headed to the @thepalacehotelcamberwell with our Steakbabes ambassador Anita to try their every night steak special, a 250g wagyu flank with chips, salad and béarnaise for just $32. Cooked perfectly to medium rare, this steak delivered big flavour, rich, tender, succulent and frankly, full on. A seriously delicious cut, though definitely on the heavier side as wagyu tends to be, so maybe not an everyday choice for the tum.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 3.9/5
We tried the fried calamari, wagyu skewers and cauliflower arancini, and all three were absolutely gorgeous. The steak comes with béarnaise, which was delicious, but we love having sauce options. Chips were great, but the salad felt a bit too intense alongside the richness of the wagyu. Something fresher would have balanced this meal better.

🔥 Vibe – 3.5/5
The recent reno has done wonders. The venue flows beautifully with plenty of different areas depending on your mood. Sports lovers, pokies slappers and those wanting a more elevated vibe, which is Josephine’s Den upstairs all have a spot. A versatile space with something for everyone.

🍷 Vino – 4.5/5
Anita, a red lover like H, went for the Pinot Noir at $15.50 a glass, which paired perfectly with the wagyu. Mads stuck with her go to Rosé at $11. Both were hits and matched well with everything on the table.

💰 Value – 4.4/5
Great value $32 for a lovely meal. The entree’s were also priced really well at $12-15 and the vino was priced really well too. We would have loved a sauce choice though, which we didn’t get however, the sauce was we did get was unreal. We understand people may have a preference of having the sauce on the side, which we generally do too, however, this one was so good, we were happy to have this on top of the delicious wagyu.
