🥩Steak – 4.2/5
Served up was a 250g Sirloin which is normally $42 - great value at $24. The steak was thick, good flavour juicy, not too much fat making it an all round crowd pleaser.
🔪Sauce & Sides – 3.8/5
This steak night included chips, salad and house béarnaise sauce. While we would rather call it a slaw from our opinion, this could be a hit or miss for some with the added horseradish - we still enjoyed it and was a nice change up from the traditional green leaf salad. Great amount of fluffy chips, salted perfectly. While béarnaise sauce isn’t our personal favourite, this one did hit the spot.
🔥Vibe – 5/5
The venue was pumping, packed full - thankfully we booked! We noticed a mix crowd of young and old, but the vibe was just working. Music playing, lots of different areas to eat or drink, including a proper fireplace that made it feel extra cosy. The interiors definitely give off winter cabin vibes in the mountain which we loved. The staff were lovely and we felt super comfortable amongst the hustle and bustle.
🍷Vino – 3/5
We tried the suggested wine pairing at $15 a glass which wasn’t our favourite. Followed that was a nice glass of shiraz at $17 and a premium pour red at $24 - noting however this was the same price as the steak, not the best value if you’re looking to score a deal.
💰Value – 4/5
Overall at $24 this is a solid deal we’d recommend with the great portion size of the sides and flavour all round. The only downfall is if you order a premium glass of wine it’ll bump up the price a fair bit. We paid extra for Garlic Butter, but extra sauce selections included are always seen as great value.
