🥩Steak –4/5
Nestled in at the gates of Marvel Stadium, you’ll find Friends of Fire offering a steak day from 12pm-3pm & 5pm-9pm for $30. This isn’t your stock standard steak night as Friends of Fire offer multiple choices for their steak including Wagyu Picanha and Churrasco, plus a vegan option! We opted for the 250g Brazilian Picanha which was served on a sizzling plate & was super thick. This steak was cooked medium rare, to our liking, it was full of flavour, super juicy & tender! For the steak lovers that like a more lean steak, this one may not be for you.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 3/5
This steak is served with a side of Smokey mustard and chippies, which were nice but needed some extra salt in our opinion. We also, in true steakbabes way, ordered almost every single sauce plus extra sides including coleslaw, calamari & brussels sprouts. Peppercorn sauce was like a spicy gravy & Chimichurri is fresh & zingy.

🔥Vibe – 3.5/5
The interiors are lovely, with gorgeous tables, very comfy chairs & super moody lighting. We loved the high seating options located at the exposed kitchen so you can watch your juicy steak being cooked. If you’re coming here to watch the footy, you will not be short of a TV to watch it on.

🍷Vino – 4/5
As we couldn’t decide on a vino, we had to try the wine flight which had 3 lovely testers of the Penfolds range. Mads was sold on the Shiraz & H the Pinot Noir.

💰Value – 3.8/5
Firstly, we greatly appreciate the variety of steaks available for steak night. If you’d like extra sauce, you can add it for $4. We understand that some people prefer not to pay extra for salads, but you can enjoy a yummy coleslaw or brussels sprouts for $8 each.
