🥩 Steak – 3.5/5
We headed into the city for our second steakcation at Hotel Indigo on Flinders Lane & dinner in the hotel restaurant Bistrot Bisou. We were treated to their Tuesday steak night, which offers 3 different types of steak. You can choose from the 250g Porterhouse, 350g Dry Aged Porterhouse on the bone or the 500g Wagyu MB5 Rostbiff. We opted for 2 of the 250g Porterhouses, these were cooked beautifully, however we did think it was lacking a bit of flavour. We do feel like a steak should have a lovely flavour on its own without the need for a sauce.

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 4/5
To start our meals we went for the grilled "Spencer Gulf" prawns with garlic, chilli & lime and these were unreal, super fresh & full of flavour, we actually ended up ordering two rounds of these. With your steak you get chippies and a choice of sauce, naturally, we tried them all. Our fav was the Cognac & Green Peppercorn, followed by the Salsa Verde then the Cafe de Paris. We did also opt for a side of greens, these were a nice fresh addition.

🔥 Vibe – 4.7/5
We have been to our fair share of hotel restaurants & this one knocked it out of the park. The vibes were immaculate, with moody lighting, gorgeous sheer curtains, incredible staff & an amazing kitchen, we loved it! This is the perfect spot for a date, a catch up with friends or if you're staying at the hotel, a cheeky bev at the bar

🍷 Vino – 4.5/5
The extensive drinks list here had us unsure as to what we wanted to try, but we landed on H having one of the demi (half) martinis, which was Petit Panky at $14 which was super smooth & didn't have the sharp martini taste you may expect. Mads stuck to what she knows & had a glass of Rose for $15.

💰Value – 3.5/5
Whilst we love a sauce option, the price point of $36 for a steak & fries didn't hit the top end spot for us. However, the fries were lovely & the steak was great with the sauce addition, but we don't think a steak should need sauce to be full of flavour.
