🥩 Steak - 3.5/5
Steakbabes headed back to one of the most well-known steak night venues in all of Melbourne, Angus & Bon. We went in for their $39 Steak Night available every Tuesday. On the menu is a 250g Angus Porterhouse served with chippies, salad & the beef jus. The steak is woodfired, cooked to your liking. We had ours medium rare, as always & the steak was cooked nicely however, we weren't massive fans of the flavour of the steak, the way it is prepared took over from the beef flavour in our opinion.

🔪 Sauce & Sides – 3.1/5
We started with some amazing entree's, the oysters were fresh & delish, the tartare was super mild & would be perfect for someone just getting into tartare, we enjoyed it but the star of the show were the scallops, so full of flavour! With the steak night we got chippies, which, it's hard to not enjoy a chip but these tasted a little burnt & the beef jus didn't have as much flavour as we would have liked. We did try all the other sauces, except mushroom, and the truffle butter & pepper sauce were our highlights!

🔥 Vibe – 4.3/5
There is one thing you cannot deny & that is that Angus & Bon has such a gorgeous vibe, from the interiors, the mood & the great staff, everything is great! We could definitely see this as the perfect spot for a first or second date.

🍷 Vino – 3.5/5
H is on her non alcoholic drink journey so tried the salty dagger made of non-alc shiraz gin, berry verjus, olive brine & soda for $16, unfortunately this didn't quite hit the mark when it comes to mocktails. Mads had a glass of the grenache rose for $14 which was really nice!

💰Value – 3.2/5
While the entree's were amazing & the vino is second to none, we did feel a little disappointed by the steak night offering especially for $39. We would definitely be back regardless as there is so many positives to Angus & Bon.
