Steakbabes headed back to where it all started, our first ever rate was at the Railway Club Hotel, Port Melbourne and we decided to bring along our friends from the Baejuice Crew to see if it was as juicy as it once was.

🥩Steak – 3.7/5 
On offer is a 200g porterhouse with chips and salad. Everyone’s steak was cooked to desire, great flavour, but there were a two out of six that were just a tad over, but nothing that required hailing the chef outside as they were all still juicy.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 3.8/5
Such an unreal range of choice, there was a big slab of garlic butter, red wine jus, blue cheese sauce and peppercorn. Chips were bloody delicious, paired with a simple salad.

🔥Vibe – 3/5
 The Railway Club is known for their iconic steakhouse restaurant, but you may not have popped into the sports bar next door which delivers a whole other vibe, and is where you have to go, or sit outside to score this $24 deal on a Wednesday. We picked outside for more space, plenty of heaters to keep us warm and to laugh loudly undisturbed. Staff were super chill, and provided suitable banter back. We would suggest this as more of a group vibe or be prepared to rally with the old ducks.

🍷Vino – 4.2/5 
Two glasses is a good night, three is a party, and Mads may have made it there. We couldn’t complain with the Pinot Noir or the Shiraz. Lucky we had the Baejuice juice prior.

💰Value – 4/5 
A year ago it was $21 on a Thursday, now refreshed to $24 on Wednesday. Understandable with the price increase, still such great value overall and an easy choice to go back. Just be sure to rug up if it’s chilly.
