🥩Steak – 4/5
Located underneath the infamous Langham Hotel is the historic Pure South Kitchen, which has been killing it for 20 years. On offer you have a choice of two beautiful Great Southern 100% grass fed King Island Steaks, either a 300g Scotch Fillet or a 350g Porterhouse. H enjoyed the Scotch which was super tender & had delicious fat. Mads tried the Porterhouse which was flavoursome but we both agreed the scotch was the winner!

🔪Sauce & Sides – 4.6/5
These were some of the best chippies we've put into our mouth. The seasoning, the crunch and how fluffy these were, was unmatched! Peppercorn sauce was super creamy but had a great flavour. Salad was easy, balanced & a solid accompaniment.

🔥Vibe – 3.2/5
The venue itself was at a great location, right on the waterfront of Southbank, a perfect spot for people watching! There is plenty of dining options but we did feel we were quite close to our neighbours & with the music being quite loud, it was hard to hear each other.

🍷Vino – 3.3/5
Vino was included with the Steak Night which they had options for too! H loves a GSM so had to go with that one, Mads as usual, went for the Shiraz. The wine will be a hit and miss for some. We liked them, but sadly not our fav vino we've had.

💰Value – 3.4/5
At $59 we understand this one is at the higher price point, but you're paying for the quality which we certainly thought was there and including a vino is always a bonus which in reality, some steak nights plus a vino would cost this or more. We do think a sauce option would be another big bonus.
