🥩Steak – 4.1/5
Steakbabes headed into the city for a mid week steak night at Miss Gunn's. Now, this is a deceptive little spot as you would't expect such a gorgeous place when walking past - hinting at Melbourne's very speakeasie vibe. Miss Gunn's offers a $30 steak (members price, $35 non-members) from 4pm every Wednesday - Saturday. On offer you'll receive a 300g New York Striploin, Marble Score 2+. The steak, cut like butter, almost melting, this baby was cooked to perfection! The flavour of the steak is quite mild, it's not a punchy flavour but it is still absolutely lovely.

🔪Sauce & Sides- 3.9/5
The steak comes with a side of fries & Chimichurri. The Chimichurri had a lovely flavour & for the coriander haters (like Mads), this one was free of all coriander flavour. The fries were delicious with such nice seasoning. Our only let down was no sauce choice or salad or veg included with the steak price. We also indulged in the Warm Roasted Cauliflower, this one is absolutely lovely & the roasted root vegetable salad which was really fresh.

Miss Gunn's basement bar officially opened in April this year and was designed to be a comfortable retreat, a place to slow down in comfort. This hidden gem, downstairs from the Clocks at Flinders is such a beautiful space. The lights are dimly lit, intimate with small booth seating and tables, the instrumental music sets the vibe perfectly & the staff are incredible. This is a perfect spot for a date night or an intimate dinner with a friend, we truly loved it here.

🍷Vino–4.6/5
The vino list is fantastic & really well priced too. H tried a newbie, a glass of Rosso di Montepulciano for $15 a glass & Mads the Shiraz for a steal at $12 a glass. Both were glorious, we loved the glassware too, a very nice touch.

💰Value–4.1/5
We personally, were impressed with $30 for a quality steak in the CBD of Melbourne - noting its free to sign up to become a member, or otherwise just pay the usual $35. Bonus points for this being on the menu Wednesday - Saturday. We bang on about it, but we always love a sauce choice & we would love a salad or veg to be included too. Other than these, we were super impressed with the value.
