🥩Steak – 5/5
We were lucky enough to be invited to Ruby Dining’s first ever Wagyu Wednesday Steak Night by the wonderful chef, James Cornwall. For their Steak Night, we were treated to a 220g Wagyu Rib Cap, this steak sent us into another dimension. The flavour, the tenderness - it was melt in your mouth. We wholeheartedly, couldn’t fault this amazing steak. We have to mention the Wagyu skewers we had for Entree too, these changed our lives. We think about these every single day.

🔪Sauce & Sides – 4.4/5
You’ve got three choices of sauces, we tried all three, obviously. The Peppercorn sauce wasn’t your regular Peppercorn but nice, barbecue flavour, The béarnaise wasn’t overpowering & the Chimichurri was beautiful and fresh. Chippies were solid & the salad was super balanced for the whole meal.

🔥Vibe – 3.5/5
Ruby Dining is a gorgeous little gem in the city, the interiors are stunning, we love the pops of red everywhere & the mirrors all over the venue added to the atmosphere. We did think it felt like Ruby’s will become a very good spot for the corporate baddies after a long days work.

🍷Vino – 4/5
A nice vino list with some beautiful options. Mads tried the Dream of Gold Shiraz for $16 a glass, H opted for the Wagyu Wednesday wine recommendation which was a lovely GSM for $15 a glass. We were both super happy with our choices! Don’t forget happy hour from 3pm - 6pm Tuesday to Saturday for a cheeky $9 vino.

💰Value – 4.5/5
Amazing steak, beautiful sides & a choice of three sauces for $30. We were stoked with this. The only thing that makes this a little more pricey, is if you have a glass of vino which we can’t imagine enjoying a steak without a vino.
